Your deck's tag tree

Pick the branch whose children are topics (systems, chapters, subjects), not sources or page numbers. New cards get full paths under it, so they appear inside your existing tree in Anki's browser. Only branches with at least 5 topic nodes are listed; page-number and question-ID leaves are ignored.
AI access
Only needed if the provider under Advanced is set to your own key. Stored in your macOS Keychain.
Shortcuts
Click a field and press the combination you want, e.g. ⌃⌥S. Use at least one modifier key.
Advanced
Each card has collapsible sections under the answer where the capture is filed. One section named Source is enough for most people. To file captures from different books into separately named sections, list one per line as Section name | keyword, keyword; a capture whose window title contains a keyword goes to that section. Changing this creates a new note type in Anki.
Any server that speaks the OpenAI chat API with image input. Card quality depends on the model you choose.
